Experience Glistening Skin with Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Juvéderm is one of the most common facial injection procedures performed in the United States. Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid filler used to improve signs of aging or augment areas of the face non-surgically. Juvéderm is formulated with hyaluronic acid to leave your skin hydrated from the inside out. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found within the skin that creates a hydrated, firm, and youthful appearance, giving the skin volume and contouring your features.

“The surgery center nurses were so nice. They answered all my questions and helped me prepare for the big day. They even called me the next day just to check in on me.”

Say Goodbye to Severe Facial Wrinkles

The product is injectable, and Juvéderm procedures can be completed in as little as 15 minutes, depending on the treatment area. Treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, jawline, or anywhere else where fine lines occur. Juvéderm is one of the most popular dermal filler options available in the United States, with several types, including Juvéderm Voluma XC, Juvéderm Ultra XC, or Juvéderm Volbella XC, each intended for a specific purpose and treatment area. Juvéderm treatments stand out from other facial injection procedures because of their multipurpose capabilities.

Juvéderm Voluma XC

This injection is meant for deep injection in the cheek area and chin, correcting age-related volume loss and providing augmentation for adults over the age of 21.

Juvéderm Ultra XC

This injectable gel treatment is ideal for augmenting the lips and perioral area in adults over 21.

Juvéderm Volbella XC

This injection is suitable for lip augmentation and correction of perioral lines. You can also use this formula to rejuvenate under eye hollows, making your face brighter and more awakened.

Contact us online to talk to a Falcon Plastic Surgery specialist to discuss if Juvéderm is right for you. During a consultation, Dr. Falcon will work to understand your goals for injections and recommend whether Juvéderm or other cosmetic treatments are best for you. Typically, injections can be administered immediately after a consultation.

What Can I Expect After Juvéderm?

Juvéderm injections require no downtime, so you can return to work, school, or other normal routines immediately after your appointment if you choose. Some redness and swelling at the injection site are both normal. You should avoid putting pressure on the area and will be advised to avoid exercise or other strenuous activity for about 24 hours after receiving injections to prevent bleeding or bruising.

Juvéderm results are immediately noticeable after the treatment despite some swelling that should dissipate quickly. Your results will not be permanent because the body naturally and safely breaks down the hyaluronic acid over time. For most patients, Juvéderm results last for between six months and two years, depending on the specific type of Juvéderm used, their metabolism, the injection site, and other factors. You can receive maintenance injections as needed to keep up your results if you choose.
